Experts in equine grass sickness (EGS) share latest research around the often fatal disease

World Horse Welfare’s free webinar on equine grass sickness will discuss the latest developments, including links between the disease and weather

On Wednesday 10 April at 7pm (BST), World Horse Welfare will be joined by special guests Dr Beth Wells, Dr Tanith Hart and Dr Hayley Coulson, all leaders in the field of equine grass sickness research, to discuss the latest developments including links between the disease and weather. The free-to-view webinar marks the charity’s finale in the latest series of Welfare Wednesday Webinars, with the next series starting again in the autumn.

Pre-registering here enables participants to submit questions about this devastating disease for the live Q&A session after the experts’ presentations.

The webinar, in association with the Equine Grass Sickness Fund, will also be available to view after the event by joining World Horse Welfare’s library of previous webinars, which cover a wide range of topics on equine health, nutrition, behaviour, environment and general advice. All are available free to view on World Horse Welfare Advice Pages.
