A commitment to farmers and vets seeking higher precision in livestock production is signified by Kersia becoming principal sponsor of the inaugural Precision Livestock Farming in Practice conference.
As a not-for-profit event, sponsorship results in a direct reduction off the ticket prices, according to organiser RAFT Solutions.
“The event offers vets and farmers an A-list of international speakers to explain the opportunities presented by precision management techniques that can be applied in practice to any livestock enterprise,” says RAFT’s Jonathan Statham. “An example is early detection of sub-optimal animal performance, timely intervention and improved prevention.”
Kersia provides biosecurity products and services from end to end of the food supply chain. In July 2018, it acquired the UK-Irish dairy hygiene company Kilco.
Precision Livestock Farming in Practice takes place at York Biotech Campus, Tue 23 to Wed 24 November. Tickets are available through the RAFT website.
