Improve International’s Veterinary Practice launches membership for vets and nurses

Improve International has launched an easy-to-use digital veterinary education membership platform, Veterinary Practice Membership, which provides high-value, cost-effective education and resources in one easily accessible place

Global veterinary training provider Improve International has expanded its Veterinary Practice brand to include an easy-to-use digital veterinary education membership platform offering high-value, cost-effective education and resources. The membership has been created in response to feedback from the profession that while there is a significant amount of CPD resources available, the quality and accessibility often varies.

Veterinary Practice will be launched to existing Improve International subscribers on Monday 8 November 2021, followed by the official launch at London Vet Show. At the Show, the first 50 vets or nurses to sign up will receive one of Improve International’s in-depth clinical manuals.

An annual subscription for vets and vet nurses will initially offer:

  • Bitesize CPD modules: short and easily digested information covering a variety of clinical subjects
  • Clinical based learning: including video and photo-based courses
  • Reflective learning: keep up to date with the latest developments while earning CPD
  • An easy-to-use tracker to help manage your CPD

CPD hours can be earned through reading, listening or engaging with the resources provided. In 2022, Veterinary Practice will be extended to include a range of additional tools to support members with their everyday practice.

Heber Alves, CEO of Improve International

Commenting on this initiative, Heber Alves CEO of Improve International, said: “As their working days become ever more pressured, it can be frustrating for veterinary professionals to have to hunt around for high-quality skills videos or track down case studies and other resources.

“Our mission is to offer vets and vet nurses high-quality veterinary education in the range of formats they need in order to develop their skills. With this in mind, we have created the Veterinary Practice Membership in order to bring together, in one place, a range of resources and educational services, all of which meet our exacting quality standards.”

Helen Richmond, head of publishing and events adds: “Veterinary Practice now offers a unique solution for busy veterinary professionals who want a one-stop-shop for resources and continuing professional development. During 2022 we will continue to build market-leading functionality, including new types of content, features and networking opportunities.’

Introductory prices for the annual subscription are £299 for a vet and £199 for a RVN. Those signing up for a paid membership before 31 March 2022 will also receive a voucher towards an Improve International modular programme.
