London | 10 August 2020 – ClearCourse Partnership LLP (“ClearCourse” or “the Group”), a group of innovative technology companies providing useful, integrated solutions, announces on 10 August 2020 the acquisition of Practice Point Limited, the owner and provider of the Assisi Veterinary Practice Management System (“Assisi”).
Practice Point’s Assisi is the UK’s most advanced veterinary practice management system, designed to fully integrate into any practice from small animal, to farm and equine. Its core components include e-billing, integrated payments, online booking, reporting, and maintaining client and patient records, all which can also be accessed through the mobile app. The software is tailored to the priorities of each client providing the efficiencies they require to carry out their individual specialisms. For companion vets undertaking home visits, the mobile Assisi app is particularly convenient as it allows them to access the full client and animal history on their Android or IOS device to complete their work whilst out on the road.
Assisi is an industry-renowned product that has been designed to deliver on the needs of its growing customer base. The software is intuitive and offers a necessary service for veterinary and farm practices. Assisi is currently installed at 181 veterinary practice sites across the UK and Ireland, in a variety of practice types including small independents and large vet consortiums such as VetPartners, Linnaeus Group and IVC Evidensia.
Practice Point is the first veterinary technology business to become part of the ClearCourse group and is an exciting addition to its growing clinic booking solutions. Assisi is a scalable platform with complementary software components that create synergies with other group companies, including its payment processing and customer experience capabilities.
Gerry Gualtieri, CEO of ClearCourse, commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Practice Point and its Assisi platform to ClearCourse. The deal comes at an exciting time in Assisi’s journey, with a growing customer base and expanding products. It also provides opportunities to further improve and enhance its interface and optimise the user-experience. ClearCourse is well suited to support the continued growth of Assisi, with identified pathways for integration with software solutions from within the Group.”
Gary Pender, Co-Founder at Practice Point, commented: “The team at Practice Point are excited to join the ClearCourse portfolio of companies. Being part of the group will give us access to greater marketing and technical expertise allowing for a rapid development of our product road map. The marketing opportunities facilitated by the expert team at Clear Course will allow us to move to the next stage as a PMS supplier.”
