The Webinar Vet and Colourful CPD have partnered together to deliver the first virtual Nurse Roadshow Conference – “Making Nurse Consulting Work for You and Your Practice” which will be taking place on Wednesday 15 July 2020, from 9:30am – 4:30pm BST. The conference is relevant to all veterinary nurses who are considering consulting, or those who would like to increase their consulting confidence and are seeking inspiration to extend the clinics they consult for. This event is sponsored by Royal Canin.
The full webinar stream, through the help of The Webinar Vet, will be available to watch on demand after the live event, as many times as you like for 6 months, on any connected device, at your leisure.
This all-day virtual conference will cover:
- Explanation of Legislation relevant to veterinary nurses, including Schedule 3
- Veterinary Medicines Regulations and Negligence and Misconduct
- How to approach any consultation to ensure it proceeds effectively be that in person or remotely
- Opportunities for improving patient health through nutritional advice
- How to overcome the common challenges to nurse consulting services
- A day in the life of a consulting nurse from 2 nurses who live it!
Speaking about the partnership Anthony Chadwick, founder of The Webinar Vet said:
“It’s great to be working with the Colourful CPD team again. When I was in practice, I loved getting the nurses involved in consultations. It was good for their development but could be a real boon for the practice as well. This day focusing on nurse consulting will be excellent and I’m pleased that The Webinar Vet are helping to bring it online.”
Steph Writer-Davies of Colorful CPD, commented:
“Our Colourful Nurse Roadshows were a great success in 2019. Unfortunately, Coronavirus disrupted plans for this year’s face-to-face events so we’re excited to have teamed up with the Webinar Vet to take the day online.”
Colourful CPD’s Brian Faulkner and Steph Writer-Davies will be joined by Clare Hemmings from Royal Canin, who are supporting the event, as well as two guest speakers who are consulting nurses themselves. With live Q&A’s and some fun quizzes, the day will be interactive as well as informative and will provide veterinary nurses with the confidence, key skills and inspiration they need to run successful clinics for the benefit of patients, clients, practices and the nurses themselves.
Veterinary nurses simply need to register their interest for tickets.
