A message to our learning community After much consideration, we’ve made the decision to close the Improve Veterinary Practice platform on 13 January 2026. Improve Veterinary Practice was built to support vets and nurses at every stage of their career, and while this chapter is ending, a new one is starting at Improve Veterinary Education. Marianna Mazza

Marianna Mazza, AVR, joined Acorn House Veterinary Hospital as a client care advisor in September 2019. Before this, she spent 16 years as a stay-at-home mum and joint partner in her husband’s business. She is currently client care manager at Acorn House and a British Veterinary Receptionist Association (BVRA) council member.
