Heather Owen

Heather Owen, DVM, MAV, CCRP, MT, CCFT, is the owner of Animal Acupuncture LLC in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She received her veterinary training from Oklahoma State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery before practising as an emergency and critical care doctor until she entered general practice in 2005. Heather received her veterinary acupuncture certification in 2006 and completed her canine rehabilitation and physical therapy training from the University of Tennessee in the spring of 2010. She also completed her veterinary food therapy certification for the Chi Institute in 2010.
