A message to our learning community After much consideration, we’ve made the decision to close the Improve Veterinary Practice platform on 13 January 2026. Improve Veterinary Practice was built to support vets and nurses at every stage of their career, and while this chapter is ending, a new one is starting at Improve Veterinary Education. Erín Courtney

Dr Erín Courtney originates from Ireland and qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2022. She has a special interest in veterinary ophthalmology, undertaking elective study at the University of Cambridge under Dr David Williams. Following graduation, Erín will be undertaking a small animal first opinion role in Northern Ireland.
