David Babington

David Babington graduated as a veterinary surgeon from the Royal Veterinary College in 1986 and started work as a veterinary assistant in mixed animal practices. During this time, he developed an interest in veterinary practice management and small animal surgery.

As well as setting up two new small animal pet healthcare centres, David founded the veterinary training company Improve International (Improve Veterinary Education) with three other veterinarians, with a remit to provide structured and integrated modular training to the veterinary profession. He served as the marketing director (1998-2003) and then the managing director (2003-2017). David is currently the academic and product development director, responsible for coordinating product development and maintaining academic standards across the different Improve International territories.
