A message to our learning community After much consideration, we’ve made the decision to close the Improve Veterinary Practice platform on 13 January 2026. Improve Veterinary Practice was built to support vets and nurses at every stage of their career, and while this chapter is ending, a new one is starting at Improve Veterinary Education. Anthi Katsiorchi

Anthi Katsiorchi DVM, MRCVS, graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2014. In the last 10 years Anthi has completed an equine internship, a small animal surgery internship and an anaesthesia internship and has worked as an equine and small animal vet in Greece and in United Kingdom. She always had a passion for anaesthesia and is currently she undertaking a residency in anaesthesia and analgesia at the University of Liverpool. Anthi’s intestests include equine anaesthesia and locoregional anaesthesia techniques in small and large large animals.
