Claire Wade
Claire Wade is a veterinary advisor in the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA)’s Veterinary Exotic Notifiable Disease Unit. She provides advice to policy teams in Defra on the management of exotic notifiable diseases, including new and emerging diseases. Over the past decade, she has worked in the field and, more recently, in a multidisciplinary team advising on Defra’s bovine tuberculosis eradication strategy. Prior to joining APHA, Claire spent six years in small animal practice.
