A message to our learning community After much consideration, we’ve made the decision to close the Improve Veterinary Practice platform on 13 January 2026. Improve Veterinary Practice was built to support vets and nurses at every stage of their career, and while this chapter is ending, a new one is starting at Improve Veterinary Education. Lara Brunori

Lara Brunori, DVM, CertAVP(ECC), MRCVS, graduated in 2009 from Bologna University in Italy before working for a few years as a mixed (equine/small animal) gen­eral practitioner. She completed the VetsNow Cutting Edge course in 2018 and started working as a clinician at VetsNow Southampton. In 2019, she obtained the CertAVP in ECC and moved to Glasgow where she has recently completed the rotating internship at VetsNow 24/7 Pet Emergency Hospital.
