Rita Figueiredo Ornelas

Clinical Pathologist at NationWide Laboratories

Rita Figueiredo Ornelas, LMV, MRCVS, graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Lisbon in 2007. She was the sole clinical pathologist in charge of the internal lab of one of the largest private animal hospitals in Lisbon which deals with first opinion and referred cases for five years, and joined NationWide Laboratories in 2012 as a trainee clinical pathologist. Her particular interests are cytology and haematology.
