A message to our learning community After much consideration, we’ve made the decision to close the Improve Veterinary Practice platform on 13 January 2026. Improve Veterinary Practice was built to support vets and nurses at every stage of their career, and while this chapter is ending, a new one is starting at Improve Veterinary Education. Member of Vet Sustain

Madi Hewitson, BVMedSci (Hons), BVS, BVM, MRCVS, recently graduated from the University of Nottingham and is dedicated to improving and promoting sustainability within the veterinary profession. Madi is also a veterinary app designer, founder of a non-profit organisation and photographer working with Vet Sustain as a member of their growing community.
