A message to our learning community After much consideration, we’ve made the decision to close the Improve Veterinary Practice platform on 13 January 2026. Improve Veterinary Practice was built to support vets and nurses at every stage of their career, and while this chapter is ending, a new one is starting at Improve Veterinary Education. Lucy Daniels

Lucy Daniels has an honours degree in canine behaviour and training, is an Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB) pre-certified clinical animal behaviourist, a candidate member of the Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians (FABC) and a provisional member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC). She is the owner and head of an animal training company, as well as a registered Animal Training Instructor with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC) and a full member of the Professional Association of Canine Trainers (PACT). Lucy has a special interest in working with puppies and adolescents.
