A message to our learning community After much consideration, we’ve made the decision to close the Improve Veterinary Practice platform on 13 January 2026. Improve Veterinary Practice was built to support vets and nurses at every stage of their career, and while this chapter is ending, a new one is starting at Improve Veterinary Education. Jos Bongers

Jos Bongers, DVM, MRCVS, graduated from Utrecht University in 2015 where she returned a year later as an internal medicine intern. Following this she completed a rotating internship in New Zealand and in February 2019, Jos started as resident in Neurology/Neurosurgery at the Small Animal Hospital in Glasgow.
