A message to our learning community After much consideration, we’ve made the decision to close the Improve Veterinary Practice platform on 13 January 2026. Improve Veterinary Practice was built to support vets and nurses at every stage of their career, and while this chapter is ending, a new one is starting at Improve Veterinary Education. Fay Marley-Cook

Fay Marley-Cook, BVSc(Hons), PgC SAM, MRCVS, graduated from the University of Bristol in 2011. She worked in small animal practice for eight years and completed a certificate in small animal medicine. She now works for a veterinary pharmaceutical company and is a member of the Vet Sustain steering group.
