Doraica Aponte-Claudio
Doraica Aponte-Claudio, BSc, BVS (Hons), graduated from the University of Sydney in 2012. She spent two and a half years in mixed animal practice in rural Victoria, Australia, before relocating to her home country, Puerto Rico. Doraica joined Royal Canin in 2015 and continued practising small animal medicine in a relief capacity on weekends. She served as a board member for the Puerto Rico Veterinary Medical Association, volunteered for the Multicultural Veterinary Medical Association as the student and affiliated organisations liaison, and is the current co-chair for the Hispanic/Latinx Associate Resource Group in Royal Canin, North America.
