A message to our learning community After much consideration, we’ve made the decision to close the Improve Veterinary Practice platform on 13 January 2026. Improve Veterinary Practice was built to support vets and nurses at every stage of their career, and while this chapter is ending, a new one is starting at Improve Veterinary Education. Alice Moore

Alice Moore, MA, VetMB, MRCVS, graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2015, and has worked in small animal practice ever since. She currently splits her time between her clinical role at Garston Veterinary Group and managing a collaborative project on sustainable working practice for XLVets. Alice was elected as chair of the British Veterinary Association’s policy committee board in 2022. Her interests surround equality, diversity and inclusion, environmental sustainability and promoting responsible pet ownership.
