Forte Healthcare has announced the launch of caregiver support videos for separation-related disorders in dogs.
Dr Sarah Heath, FRCVS, (RCVS and EBVS European veterinary specialist in behavioural medicine) has created these practical caregiver support videos which discuss separation related disorders and the CALM programme for behavioural modification.
The caregiver support videos for separation-related disorders in dogs can be found on their website and on The Webinar Vet YouTube channel.
The CALM programme can be used independently or alongside the use of Reconcile, the only licensed fluoxetine for dogs.
Reconcile is indicated as an aid in the treatment of separation-related disorders in dogs in combination with behavioural modification techniques.
Further information on Reconcile and the CALM programme can be found in the suite of Reconcile support materials, available from your Forte Territory Manager in hardcopy and as downloads from the website.
Dr Lucy Chadwick, head of technical services and marketing at Forte Healthcare, said: “We are delighted to be launching this series of practical caregiver support videos, created by behavioural specialist Dr Sarah Heath, FRCVS, to empower caregivers to undertake behavioural modification for the prevention and management of separation-related disorders in dogs.
“Separation-related disorders are extremely prevalent in pet dogs and have been compounded by the change in caregiver routines in recent years.
“These caregiver support videos round out our comprehensive suite of caregiver and veterinary professional support materials.”
Reconcile is available in all veterinary wholesalers now.
