UK’s best-selling flea and tick brand launches Frontline wormer

It helps protect pets against all types of intestinal worms commonly found in the UK in one product – killing roundworms and tapeworms in cats and dogs, and also hookworms and whipworms in dogs

Cat and dog owners can now choose Frontline to take care of intestinal worms too with the introduction of new Frontline wormer. It’s the latest addition to the brand’s range of market-leading flea and tick treatments.

Frontline wormer is a tasty worming tablet that gives pet parents an easy way to worm their cats and dogs. It helps protect pets against all types of intestinal worms commonly found in the UK in one product – killing roundworms and tapeworms in cats and dogs, and also hookworms and whipworms in dogs so there’s no need for separate worming treatments to kill different types of intestinal worms. And because it’s a flavoured tablet, Frontline wormer can be given as a treat without food or mixed with food – making it easier to give to pets.

Geoffrey Guyot, Brand Manager at Frontline, explains: “Cats and dogs can easily pick up worms from infected soil, or while grooming and hunting, and gaps in treatment give a worm problem a chance to build and spread. Worms can affect humans too, causing ill health and even blindness, so regular treatment with Frontline wormer is important to help keep pets and the rest of the family healthy. It’s part of our commitment to bringing pet parents effective parasite protection that they can conveniently access and choose with confidence.”

New Frontline wormer is available in packs of two tablets for 3 pet sizes:

  • For small and medium dogs
  • For medium and large dogs
  • For cats

As an AVM-GSL-licensed product, it can be sold off the shelf.

Retailers can order it now from their usual wholesalers.

Frontline wormer tablets for dogs and XL tablets for dogs contain febantel, praziquantel and pyrantel embonate. Frontline wormer tablets for cats contains praziquantel and pyrantel embonate.
