The Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) ran another hugely successful remote conference in September titled “The Emotional Side of Training and Behaviour” and for the first time ever, the recording of the conference is available to purchase.
Included in the cost of the conference recording – which features talks from four experts in their fields, as well as the Q&As – is the 176-page digital delegate pack. This contains the presentation slides, as well as written versions of all talks.
The conference received warm reviews from delegates who attended live, with Laura McAuliffe sharing her experiences of supporting reactive dogs and their owners, acknowledging the range of emotions involved, including disappointment when the dog-owning experience does not initially live up to the owner’s expectations. Sue Ketland from Wood Green outlined how a dog’s emotional wellbeing in the kennel environment or foster home is maintained. Jim Mackie from Zoological Society of London provided a fascinating insight into training and enriching the lives of a huge variety of species, and Dr Amber Batson’s talk was packed with content exploring the emotional differences in the behaviour and training of prey and predator species.
You can purchase the conference and delegate pack on APBC‘s website.
