SPILLERS and MARS Equestrian proud to sponsor NEF 2021

The 29th National Equine Forum will be held virtually on 4 March 2021

SPILLERS is proud to announce its sponsorship of the National Equine Forum (NEF) 2021. The feed brand will be directly supporting the NEF special webinar The Great Weight Debate (equine), to be held later this month and will also be supporting the renowned NEF main event in March 2021, via MARS Equestrian – the link between the iconic MARS brands and the equestrian community.

“We are extremely proud to support the National Equine Forum, both individually with SPILLERS’ support for the Great Weight Debate and through MARS Equestrian’s sponsorship of the main event,” said Clare Barfoot RNutr, Marketing and Research and Development Director at SPILLERS. “The NEF is a highly regarded and popular annual occasion. With its immense success in bringing the equestrian sector together to share knowledge and harness ideas to support our nation’s love for the horse it reflects MARS Equestrian’s and SPILLERS’ ethos as proud partners in care.”

“We are thrilled to be a part of this exceptional conference and for the opportunity to extend Mars’ commitment to the equine industry where we recognise the important role horses play in making the world a better place,” added Dr. Bridgett McIntosh, Director of MARS Equestrian.

The NEF Great Weight Debate (equine), 7pm Wednesday 27 January 2021, will be taking a practical look at different perspectives on weight management of the obese horse, pony and donkey from across the equestrian sector. The session will be chaired by equine veterinary nutrition specialist Professor Pat Harris who heads the WALTHAM Equine Studies Group and is vice chairman of the NEF organising committee.

The 29th National Equine Forum to be held virtually on Thursday 4 March 2021, will provide critical insight to welfare, trade and biosecurity, followed by positive innovations for the sector, borne from COVID-19. The afternoon session will provide updates from the two special interest webinars, a session on how new technology is helping riders and a revisit to access and accidents.

Horses have been deeply rooted in MARS’ history since the 1930s and MARS is committed to equestrian sport and building an enduring legacy through purposeful partnerships. SPILLERS, the leading horse feed brand for MARS Horsecare in the UK, is a proud partner in care and strives to lead, support and communicate research, especially that carried out by WALTHAM, to continually expand knowledge and improve horse health worldwide.

Tickets are priced at £5.00 for the Great Weight Debate webinar and £10.00 for the Forum.
