Who is ready for some actual face to face contact and professional conversation? The opportunity to meet up with colleagues and peers? As the country begins to return to normal with the return of larger gatherings and sporting events, including the long-awaited Tokyo Olympics, opportunities like this are getting closer. Just like the athletes, it is time to take your marks and get ready!
1 and 2 October 2021 is the date that the BVRA has been focussing on for over a year, the third annual BVRA Congress. The event is an opportunity for veterinary receptionists to come together for two days of learning, collaboration and socialising. The event will also highlight Veterinary Receptionists Appreciation Day on 1 October and will be a celebration of the hard work and dedication shown by these colleagues.
The agenda will include talks on wellbeing, sustainability, nutritional truths, animal behaviour and neuro-linguistic programming. The results of the BVRA’s Annual Survey will be presented, as well as guest speakers from the Pet Blood Bank and Canine Partners. Additionally, the BVRA is delighted to host RCVS Knowledge and hear about how receptionists can have an impact on quality improvement within the practice. With a diverse line up of exhibitors it is a great opportunity for front of house teams to keep up to date with products and services and no doubt a chance to stock up on some free pens!
An evening dinner will host the Veterinary Receptionist of the Year Award announcement and presentation, after which DJ Dan O’Dwyer awaits to entertain delegates at the evening dinner with music, dancing and musical bingo!
So, “get set” veterinary receptionists and get ready to make up for lost time over the past year! The BVRA is ready to pull the trigger on its starting pistol, make sure you are on the start line!
Not able to attend in person? Got the fear of missing out? BVRA‘s got you covered! Head over to the BVRA Facebook page on the day where BVRA will be bringing you all the congress action to enjoy from your sofa.
