Ceva Animal Health has added Ketofen to its extensive range of livestock injectables available in the company’s eco-friendly CLAS (Ceva Layered Anti Shatter) vials.
Ketofen, part of Ceva’s comprehensive NSAID range which also includes Meloxidyl and Allevinix, will join Zeleris, Tulaven, Florkem, Vetrimoxin Eprecis and Forceris, which are already available in CLAS vials. All three Ketofen sizes are now in CLAS (250ml, 100ml and 50ml) and are available from veterinary wholesalers.
CLAS vials are proven to be easy to use, practical and eco-friendly and are preferred by 99 percent of farmers on farm (Usage survey conducted on 540 farmers in France, 2012). They have 33 percent less impact on the environment from cradle to grave than glass (Jacquet C. et al., 2016) and are robust and shock resistant (Cavaroc P. J. et al., 2012) for fewer breakages and losses. The lightweight material ensures the vials are easier to be transported and handled, while the ergonomic “grip groove” ensures easier handing and the hi-tech multi-layered structure provides product stability (CLAS vials reference book, 2012).
“Ceva’s CLAS vials are hugely popular with both vets and farmers due to their practicality, ease of use and environmental credentials,” comments Peter Keyte, ruminant business unit manager at Ceva Animal Health. “We are therefore delighted that Ketofen has joined the extensive range of livestock injectables available in CLAS.”
