Christmas comes early to vet practices

Vital Pet Group, in conjunction with Companion Consultancy, launch an early Christmas catalogue aimed at veterinary practices, to help a support pets’ behavioural needs

Vital Pet Group, the UK’s leading wholesaler of pet products, has launched a Christmas catalogue specifically aimed at vet practices. With a vet-led selection of top-selling brands like Kong, I-Quties, Elkwood, Supreme and Whimzees, the range includes innovative products aimed at supporting pets’ behavioural needs, as well as Christmas-themed goodies to delight all the pet owners who visit – or work in – practices.

Vital offers the UK’s largest range of pet products, including pet food, bedding, health and hygiene products, toys and accessories. The exclusive seasonal lines include Christmas gifts to pre-order, in addition to a dedicated delivery service, with ExpressPick free next-day delivery on orders of over £60 available on thousands of qualifying products.

Sunny Sharma, director of Vital Pet Group, says: “We are proud to be able to bring such a wide and innovative range of pet products to vet practices, and to support our partners and their retail businesses every day. Our aim is to empower people to have a stronger relationship with their pets through high quality care, training and play accessories, and be the retail partner of choice for vet practices across the UK. Christmas is the ideal time to introduce a range of retail products into practices and help pet owners to promote their pets’ health and well-being.”

To support vet practices, Vital Pet Group has teamed up with Companion Consultancy, long-established marketing and communication specialists to the veterinary and pet sectors to offer discounted services for new Vital customers.

Companion Consultancy’s Managing Director, Susan McKay BVM & S, MRCVS, MBA, says: “With the boom in pet ownership and rise of behavioural issues as lockdown eases, Vital is well-placed to help vets offer support to their clients with a range of well-being inspired products to stimulate pets’ interest, aid training and encourage a healthy lifestyle. Vital’s Christmas ranges: ‘Starry Nights’, ‘Festive’ and ‘Whimsical’ collections, catch the imagination and can help to engage pet owners in the practice – and also bring the opportunity for incremental sales, as well as providing a great staff benefit for those who want to treat their own pet to something special. We can support practices to spread the word about great initiatives like this and help them build loyalty and relationships with their client base.”

The Vital Pet Christmas range is available for pre-order only, while stocks last, with an order deadline of 7 September 2021. For more information on setting up an account, practices can contact Jenny Langridge, Business Development Manager at Companion Consultancy, by email on jenny@companionconsultancy.com or by calling 07980 717106.
