Agria Pet Insurance and PetsApp announce partnership

The aim of the first-of-its-kind partnership is to make it easier for veterinary clinics to better serve the needs of pet owners and their patients

Agria Pet Insurance and PetsApp have announced a new collaboration to empower veterinary teams – with special offers and educational content for Agria and PetsApp customers.

The aim of the first-of-its-kind partnership is to make it easier for veterinary clinics to better serve the needs of pet owners and their patients by augmenting their existing services.

Firstly, Agria have worked with PetsApp to provide 5 weeks free insurance for new puppies or kittens at practices partnered with both companies. To simplify this campaign, PetsApp is offering a free trial of it’s communications platform to all new Agria enabled clinics – allowing pet owners to engage with their veterinary team from anywhere, at any time.

The partnership doesn’t end there. With a joint passion for community focused veterinary care, they have scheduled a free evening webinar (Tuesday 23 March, 7pm) investigating the business potential of a lifelong pet-and-vet partnership. The 60-minute session will play host to Robin Hargreaves (Director – Stanley House Vets, Agria Pet Insurance Vet Lead) and Thom Jenkins (Founder and CEO – PetsApp), as they analyse how best to build a community centered veterinary practice that can look after pets from birth to end-of-life.

There will also be informative podcasts, blog posts and social posts that focus on tooling veterinary teams with practical actions that can help them better serve their customers.

Nick White, Head of Veterinary at Agria, says, “Our focus on providing the best protection for pets and their owners, and a great service to vets, can only be enhanced through our collaboration with PetsApp. Keeping the communication going between vets and clients always produces the best outcome for pets – and now that we can add 5 weeks free insurance communicated via the app, we’re confident that even more pets will benefit from the cover they need. We’re really looking forward to working with the team at PetsApp.”

Liz Hargett, Strategic Accounts Director at PetsApp, says, “We are so excited to be partnering up with Agria; who have been insuring animals before the invention of the motorcar. We both put the vet team at the heart of everything we do, and both feel passionately that all pets deserve the best possible healthcare delivered with ease and compassion.”
